On-the-Go Is there an app for that? Can you download it on your cell or tablet?
- Choose a new tool or platform. If you are just getting started, I recommend starting small with twitter and pic collage. If you already utilize these type of apps and platforms, step it up to something bigger and create a blog or website.
- Dive in. You can watch all the tutorials and how-to videos you want. Apps are made to be user friendly and they are easy to navigate.
- Need Help? Check with your campus and district to find other bloggers or tech groups. Most sites have their own Q&A or tutorials. Do you have a student teacher or observer? Put them to good use. Have them take photos and create posts. Allow others to teach you in person or remotely.
- Make a small post/tweet or pic collage.

- Utilize Dropbox, Google Drive or a cloud to keep your photos and screenshots.
- Remember that what you post should be visually pleasing.
- You are professional and you need to remember that when going public but don't be afraid to have fun and be silly!
- Incorporate products into your lessons so that students work can be posted directly to your site.
- If you feel trapped, you are. Get up, stretch, go for a run, grab a snack. A weary poster is not an accurate poster.
